Thanks to all who helped out at last Saturday's Akin House clean-up day! Hard-working volunteers cleared the area of the yard that is the focus of this year's archaeology project. Even more stones (probably related to the barn that was here in the 19th and earlier 20th centuries) were found once the vegetation was removed. It will be an interesting area to survey!
